You won’t find any in your state–red fox for the pet market come from the place they’re raised, which is fox fur farms. And those are located in states with winter weather that encourages thick fur growth. Hot states just don’t have any fur farms, sorry. You’ll need to check out of state and arrange shipping. The cost of the fox will be AT LEAST the going rate for a fox fur already tanned, which last year was around $55. Add on more for the shipping, the crate and I don’t know what else, but you’re likely looking at around $200 or higher. Plus you have to find a fox farm that is willing to SELL one individual fox, which most are not likely to be interested in doing. They have a liability with their animals and usually don’t get involved with the pet trade.
