Where can I buy a new spring for my TransTrem or S-Trem bridge?
The spring is much less likely to wear out than the bearings are that’s for sure. But for those looking to replace one we’ve yet again created a special page for this. Click here. There’s also an option for those wanting to use 11 gauge strings. The normal trem spring becomes too compressed when using heavier gauges. However an enterprising Steinberger owner, Lou Larson, had a batch of custom springs made to accommodate these gauges. He sells them for around $15 + shipping.
