LHD vehicles are only cheaper to manufacture if no comparable RHD production capability exists. The reason why they’re usually more expensive in the UK (and other RHD countries) is that they’re handled as exceptions to the normal inventory process and require exception handling in relatively low quantities. Your best bet is probably going to be buying one somewhere on the continent where you can have your choice among the full selection of products and where LHD vehicles aren’t subject to the surcharge for being handled as exceptions rather than the relatively few brought in as curiosities to the UK.
