When it comes to printers, cheap and quality are mutually exclusive categories. I buy high-end laser printers on Craigslist as their cost per page is much, much lower than ink jets, the print count is usually low when owned by an individual (under 5000 total prints), and they’re faster than ink jet. Also, you may be able to use your printer. Google search the name and model of the printer along with the word “driver” (i.e. “brother 5240dn driver”) and hopefully you’ll find updated drivers for Windows 7. Once you find the driver to download, install it and then plug your printer back in. Hopefully it works. Windows 7 is the operating system, by the way.
