Where can i buy a full pantomime horse costume?
Search under “horse mascot costumes” those are usually the ones that will have a two person style available. Most places that sell mascots carry two person horses, but many still have them as special order. We ordered ours wholesale six months ago, and there is really no way to tell if we will ever get it. Also, I wouldn’t try your local theatres, unless they are very large theatres, I’m not sure they could afford to purchase a two person horse costume just for one show. Usually theatres like ours won’t purchase an item like that, they will only rent one. (Unless they have a very large budget). I would really suggest calling around to rent a two person horse costume instead of buy one if that works for your situation. You’d be looking at maybe $50 from a small theatre rental shop to $150-200 at a larger rental shop in a large city versus paying $1000-2000 to purchase one.
