Where can I buy a Friesian horses in North Carolina?
I really can’t help you on breeders as such because I’m not in that area nor am I a ‘Friesian’ person. Your just going to have to search the web and ask around to find out about breeders. Price wise, Friesians tend to be very high priced, not because they are talented or of excellent breeding, but often just because of the glamour of being a member of the breed itself. Don’t get me wrong, many are talented and rightly priced at high expenses, but the rest that aren’t so special also tend to be jacked up in price. It’s not unusual for a Friesian foal of worthless breeding to be for sale for $10,000. That being said, there are deals out there if you work hard enough to find them, but your best chance of getting a Friesian for cheaper money is actually buying a cross (Arabians and Morgans seem to produce the better crosses, I’ve heard of people crossing them with QHs, but that seems way too weird in my opinion). They seem to have become very popular now a days though, so your chances of f
