Where can I buy a cheap good quality mattress?
Buying a mattress is just about the most frustrating and difficult “major” purchase you’ll ever make. Cheap and Good Quality seldom go together. And buying online will probably add near $100 in shipping cost to your purchase–plus you won’t know what you’ve bought until it arrives and you lay on it! (It’s not possible to do comparison shopping for mattresses–the manufacturers have rigged the system to prevent that by offering every seller of mattresses a slightly different mattress, even if it carries the same name!) If you want a regular, innerspring type mattress, go to several local retailers (and chains, if available) and TRY THEM BY LAYING DOWN ON THEM.
