Where can I buy a Cane toad?
Why don’t you just go near a river and grab one of the toads from there? They’re basically the same. They sure look the same. Just feed it a lot and it will grow big like a cane toad would. I’ve seen some toads from around WI that had to have weighed a pound at least. I don’t think it’s legal in WI to own a cane toad. But if you still have your heart set on them, why not ask a wildlife licensing center about their status first. Then go online and search for a pet store that sells them. I don’t think there are many, if any, in WI. So you may have to buy one from overseas, and then it will have to get through customs. Even then, they may hold it for weeks just to make sure it isn’t carrying diseases. And even then, it could die, or they might not let it in the country.
