If you only want to teach and live somewhere for only 3-5 months, not too many people will want to hire you. It’s a waste of time. Some schools might hire you for one cycle (that’s teaching at a language institute) which lasts for four months. Again, it’s usually a waste of a school’s time and money to have a teacher stay for such a short period of time. How much money do you have? You’ll need at least $1,500-$2,000 USD per person. Any decent TEFL course costs about $1,500 for four weeks. Cheapest place to fly to is Mexico. Plenty of Spanish language schools and English language schools to study and work at. You could get work teaching business English classes for sure in Mexico City. You would have to wear dress clothes and travel all over the place while making about $10 bucks an hour, but you’ll be paid in cash and there’s no need for a TEFL or much else, just a clean, neat apperarence an
