An employer is obliged by the Health and Safety executive law to draw up a risk statement and evaluation to determine if there are any health hazards for employees. The employer must then take precautions to nullify those risks. An employer or employee can ask the Health and Safety Executive for advise when suspecting a Legionella risk or contamination in the workplace.
