Where can I access the shoreline and beaches of Lake Arrowhead?
There are two private beaches of special note around Lake Arrowhead, Tavern Bay and Burnt Mill. These beaches also provide access to the ALA (Arrowhead Lake Association) trail that meanders around the perimeter of the lake. You will find Tavern Bay Beach and Beach Club on the north side of the Lake. Take highway 173 and turn onto Willow Creek Road and proceed past the UCLA Conference Center to the bay. On the south side of the lake, you will find Burnt Mill Beach and Beach Club, which is located to the far left of the Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa off Lake Edge Road (Highway 189) and Lake Resort Road. See the information page for details. When you Map Quest a location in the mountains, most mapping programs have difficulty locating a specific address and so if you need help call or e-mail and detailed directions to your destination will be given to you. Remember, Lake Arrowhead is a private lake and access to its beaches, beach clubs, and ALA trail will most likely require a beach club
