HYNE T2 Blue is approved for use as a termite resistant building material and is suitable for use as: – • Part of a whole of house protection barrier system that complies with AS 3600.1 or • As an additional protection against possible termite infestation Hyne Timber recommends the use of Hyne T2 Blue as an additional barrier against termite attack. Use of Hyne T2 Blue structural framing in the construction of the wall frame and roof truss components of dwellings combined with other normal termite barriers provides additional protection against termites.
