Where Can Bed Bugs Hide?
Bed bugs can hide just about anywhere but generally tend to stay somewhat near their blood host sometimes showing a preference to fabrics, wood and paper. Bed Bugs often pool in the seams of mattresses and can also be found in pillow casings, box springs, bed posts, and bedding fabrics. Bed bugs can easily travel great distances and can normally be found hiding in wall outlets, floor cracks, baseboards, closet and window runners, lamps, tables, ornamentals, picture frames, rugs, carpets, clothing, furniture and just about anywhere else they can squeeze into. Bed bugs feed at night and remain in their hiding spots throughout the day, waiting for you to retire so that they can resume their feeding cycle.
