The Working Holiday visa cannot be granted in Australia. All visa applications must be made overseas. If you are a passport holder from one of the ten following foreign countries: • United Kingdom • Canada • Netherlands • Republic of Ireland • Sweden • Denmark • Norway • Finland • Italy • France Then you are eligible to apply for a Working holiday visa in any country (except Australia). Applicants who hold a valid passport from Japan, the Republic of Korea, Malta, Germany, or the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China, and the Republic of Cyprus, must apply for a holiday visa for working in the foreign country which issues the passport. Australia only has agreements for working holiday visas for the countries listed above, if you do NOT hold a passport for a listed country then please apply via our emigration application form.
