Where can a student go to find professional assistance with emotional issues /concerns or to enhance their personal growth?
The Counseling Center (CC) is available to provide professional psychological assistance to eligible students who are seeking assistance with emotional issues or are interested in enhancing their personal growth. The CC is staffed by licensed professional psychologists, psychology interns, and consulting psychiatrists. Students who are eligible for this service are full-time undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in the Schools of Arts & Science, Engineering, Nursing, and the Peabody Conservatory. The CC is located on the Homewood Campus, at 358 Garland Hall. Students may stop by to make an appointment between 8:30 am and 5 pm, or they may call 410-516-8278. Are housing assignments first-come, first-served or assigned randomly? Incoming freshmen who submit their housing materials on time are assigned housing by a random sort process.
