Where can a get a pug/beagle mix breed in the UK?
There is no valid reason to cross a breed bred primarily as a Lap dog with a breed bred to hunt and be on the go all day. It would be quite likely for a mating like this to end up with puppies with the nature of a Beagle but without the necessary physical attributes to make a normal life possible. You won’t know whether a puppy will end up looking like a Pug. You might get the best of both breeds – but you could equally get the worst of both breeds – a dog who wants to hunt but looks like a Pug and has all the health problems associated with bad breeding. You could try Beagle Welfare: http://www.beagleadvice.org.uk/weekly-li… Or Pug Rescue: http://www.pugwelfare-rescue.org.uk/pdwr… who may know of some crosses in need of rehoming.
