Where Can a Forensic Odontologist Work?
Forensic odontology, also sometimes referred to as bite-mark evidence expertise or forensic dentistry, is a branch of forensic medicine that deals with presenting and handling dental evidence in court after its proper examination. Forensic odontologists work alongside a forensic anthropologist or a forensic pathologist. They assist in a variety of cases, such as deaths and assaults, and may be called in when certain types of evidence, such as chewing gum or dental equipment, are found at a crime scene.
