Start with the garage setup. Line the floor with those interlocking mats that you can commonly find at sporting goods stores (for underneath weights). They will work nicely as a “carpet” to completely cover a cement floor. Next, purchase mirror panels from a home improvement store (like the type sometimes put in bathrooms). Mount them to one wall, as many as you’d like. If your garage doesn’t have finished walls, just mount them to the studs! Next, find the workout equipment you are interested in. Check the sale papers (especially after Christmas/New Years) and your local classifieds. Most people buy equipment and never use it. You can get practically brand new stuff for a fraction of the original cost. Next, put a stereo and/or TV in your garage. You can get a wall-mount for a small, flat TV which keeps it out of your way while you’re working out. That will also allow you to angle it towards you depending on what machine you’re using at the time. Also, get one with a remote, so you ca
