Where are various Maps 2.0 files stored?
On some mobile devices like the Nokia N95, Maps 2.0 will be pre-installed on ROM (Read Only Memory), the map data and additional guide content will be stored on the memory card or internal mass memory if available. If the mobile device needs to be reflashed, map data will not be lost if stored on the memory card or internal mass memory. Purchased features can be restored via manual update as long as you keep using the same mobile device. To regain your navigation license in Maps 2.0 for the remaining time period, go to Options > Extras > My licenses > Update. Please allow the connection to the license server to check for your licenses by selecting Yes and then selecting the correct internet access point (if asked).
