In Release 2 of OracleAS Oracle Internet Directory (OID) is used as the Single Sign-On Server’s user repository. User and group definitions are stored as entries in the directory. Users can be provisioned through user management screens in OracleAS Portal, or with the administration tools and APIs provided with OID.
