Where are Tool Logic products made?
The majority of our products are made in SEKI, Japan. Seki is a small town high in the mountains above Nagoya in Gifu prefecture. It is the traditional center of knife and sword making in Japan and is still home to some of the finest makers in the world. During the past ten years tremendous changes have taken place in the cutlery and small tools market. First, Taiwan became a dominant force in folding knives and multi-tools by offering high quality at very affordable prices. The Wine Companion, Office Companion, Golf Cards and Notecard are made by top factories in Taiwan. Today it is difficult to go to a store and not find something “Made in China”. Like Japanese and Taiwanese makers before them, the better Chinese cutlery and tool factories are rapidly gaining knowledge of quality production methods. The new TracLite is our first product made in China.
