Where are there contradictions in the bible?
As pointed out, there are long lists of what people consider “contradictions” on the internet. There are also valid explanations for almost every one of them on the internet too. So, most of what seems to be contradictions aren’t. I’ll show two that I hear of all the time. The creation stories – They are not contradictory. One is chronological. There is no reason that the second has to be chronological. The second focuses on important parts of the creation story. Yet – people insist it is a contradiction. The second one I see all the time is the genealogy differences between Matthew and Luke. The answer is found in Jeremiah 22:30. The messiah was promised to come from the blood line of King David. Unfortunately, the succeeding kings grew more and more wicked until God put a curse on King Jeconiah (also known as Jehoaichin) and said he would not have children on the throne. Big problem! So, the genealogies differ after Jehoaichin in Matthew and Luke since Matthew follows the legal line
