Where Are The Revs?
Did y’all see SNL a few weeks back? I’m talking about the cartoon where Jug Ears sends the RWPPs, the righteous reverends, Jesse and Al, all over the world to keep them away from his campaign. Even before that, I had been wondering where Jesse and Al are. Here we have our first credible candidate (and according to Joe Biden he’s also “clean and articulate”) to actually be the real first black president and Jesse and Al aren’t grabbing microphone time. Where are they? I heard that in South Carolina Jesse was backing Thunder Thighs and his wife was backing Jug Ears, or maybe it was the other way around. Talk about hedging your bets. Maybe they’re staying on the sidelines to see who’s gonna win. It wouldn’t do to back Jug Ears only to have Thunder Thighs steal the nomination. The Clintons hold grudges and no one does politics of personal destruction better than the Clintons.
