Where are the Paramedic courses offered at HACC?
At the Wildwood campus in Harrisburg, the traditional classroom offering meets on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:45 to 10:00 p.m. with testing on some Saturdays. We also offer an online / distance education alternative which can be substituted for the traditional Tuesday/Thursday classroom sessions. The clinical lab sessions are conducted on various HACC campuses periodically throughout each month. The hospital clinical rotations (ER, OB, Peds, psych, ICU, OR, etc.) and ALS field rotations are consistent for both groups – 250 hours each (hospital and ALS) with specific competencies required.
