Redondo Beach residents can access MTA regional bus service as well as Gardena Municipal Bus Lines, Lawndale Transit, and Torrance Transit at the South Bay Galleria Commuter Service Center. The Center is located behind the Nordstrom parking structure at 1820 Kingsdale Ave., one-half block south of Artesia Blvd. The Metro Green Line light rail Marine/Redondo Station is located on Marine Ave. near Redondo Beach Ave. This station is the terminus for the Metro Green Line (MGL). Amenities at this station include; 350 park-n-ride spaces, and bicycle lockers. Parking is Free! For MGL schedules and Metro Bus access to the Station, call 1-800-COMMUTE or go on line at www.metro.net. From the MGL it is possible to transfer to the LA/Long Beach Metro Blue Line light rail (MBL) and make a MBL connection to the Metro Red Line subway.
