Assuming a full compliment of lifeguards, lifeguards stands will be located approximately at S2nd Street, Division, N2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th, 10th, 12th, 14th, 16th, 18th, 20th, 22nd, and 24th. Note that the guarded area for all stands except S2nd and 24th, the guarded area is between the stands. For example, the flagged or guarded area of the 4th-6th Street beach extends roughly from 4th to 6th Street. There are also two lifeguards stands located at 16th Street and the Bay (Bay Beach).
