All kids rebate checks as well as any other check issued by the State of Illinois gets worked in a timely manner, then sent to the Comptrollers Office where they sit and collect dust until the State`s account has enough money in it to actually send out the checks. You can call the Comptroller`s office at 800-877-8078, press 1 to speak to a live person to see what the estimated date your check will be sent. When I spoke to them 3 weeks ago, they were only then working on debts from July 1st. Good luck.
