The default location where Hot Keyboard used to store its macros is the Windows Registry. You can find them under the following registry key: “HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\TB Labs\Hot Keyboard\\Macro data” where is your Hot Keyboard version number (e.g. “2.7”). But if your macro data is large than 10 Kbytes or you have Hot Keyboard 3.0 or later (beginning with the 3.0 version Hot Keyboard always stores its macros in the files instead of registry), Hot Keyboard stores it in the file to not trash the registry.
