Where Are the Gaps in Environmental Education?
Presents results of a national survey on students’ environmental concerns, education, and actions with a special focus on disadvantaged youth. Results indicate that nondisadvantaged youth have a more altruistic focus on environmental problems and are more concerned about plants, animals, and future generations while youth from disadvantaged areas are more concerned about present and immediate environmental problems.
