The Vortec engine uses injectors connected to a fuel “spider” beneath the intake plenum. They are notorious for failure and drivability problems. This isn’t something that the average do-it-yourselfer is going to be able to repair himself. I recommend that you locate a shop in town that specializes in fuel injection or take it to a shop that specializes in GM or the dealer.
