The four existing sites are: • South Mimms – a County Council owned transit sites with space for 15 pitches. • Sandy Lane, Bushey – a County Council owned site with space for 27 pitches. • Hilfield Lane, Patchetts Green – a temporary privately owned site with space for 1 pitch. • Barnet Road (The Pylon site) Potters Bar – a privately owned site. Originally this had space for six pitches and planning permission has been granted for six additional pitches to provide 12 in total. Note: a pitch is the space required to accommodate one household. The regional average is 1.7 caravans per pitch.
