Where are the dinosaurs mentioned in the bible?
They aren’t. Though many argue that they are mentioned frequently in Job as Leviathian, which is most commonly associated with sea monsters, not land monsters. However most people don’t agree with that argument based on other Biblical sources where God and man are unable to identify with real animals. For example, God says that bats are birds. Naturally someone from the Bronze Age would believe that since they don’t know any better. But if God is all-knowing, certainly he would know better than that but he doesn’t which doesn’t help his credibility at all. Scientists today don’t believe that dinosaurs and humans coexisted.
The Bible says that God created the great sea monsters which probably were the dinosaurs since they lived by the waters. But what difference does it make? They have nothing to do with our salvation. God did not mention many other animals either like the apes or chimpanzees. The Behemoth is usually thought of as a hippopotamus. Not a dinosaur. Some translations use the word hippopotamus instead of behemoth.
i believe the dinosaurs in the bible is dragon Job 40:15 15 “Look at the behemoth, which I made along with you and which feeds on grass like an ox. 16 What strength he has in his loins, what power in the muscles of his belly! 17 His tail sways like a cedar; the sinews of his thighs are close-knit. 18 His bones are tubes of bronze, his limbs like rods of iron. 19 He ranks first among the works of God, yet his Maker can approach him with his sword. 20 The hills bring him their produce, and all the wild animals play nearby. 21 Under the lotus plants he lies, hidden among the reeds in the marsh. 22 The lotuses conceal him in their shadow; the poplars by the stream surround him. 23 When the river rages, he is not alarmed; he is secure, though the Jordan should surge against his mouth. 24 Can anyone capture him by the eyes, or trap him and pierce his nose?
good question, they will twist the word serpant or some other mythological creature and claim that means dinosaur- personally i don’t believe that the carbon dating techniques used when the bible was written were that accurate but then those that claim that dinosaurs are mentioned also claim that humans were around at the same time
