Where are the cross country ski trails around Cadillac?
The Cadillac Pathway is a favorite among cross country skiers. The path begins off Boon Road near the Clam River close to the Missaukee County line. A Nordic Skiing Trail rating system is used to differentiate between easiest to most difficult trails. There is up to 10 miles of rolling trails depending upon the route you take. This trail can be skied by all levels of skiers, novice to expert; for more information contact (231) 775-9727. Heritage Nature Trail begins behind the Carl T. Johnson Hunting and Fishing Center on M-115 or at the west end of Kenwood Park on North Boulevard. The trail is groomed and skiers are asked to stay on designated trails to help preserve the delicate habitat of the 2-3 mile area. More information can be obtained by calling (231) 779-1321.
