Where are the Boehringer Ingelheim biopharmaceutical production sites located?
Boehringer Ingelheim offers the entire production chain at its biopharmaceutical manufacturing facilities in Vienna (Austria) and Biberach (Germany). At the Vienna site we produce therapeutics derived from bacterial and yeast fermentation and at the Biberach site we produce biopharmaceuticals derived from mammalian cell cultures. All our production plants operate under cGMP and are approved by European, US, Canadian and Japanese authorities.
