WHERE ARE THE BODIES OF OUR CHILDREN, KILLED IN CHURCH-RUN “RESIDENTIAL SCHOOLS”?
Come and rally for the Disappeared Native Children: Sunday, September 12 10 am St. Andrew’s Wesley United Church Nelson and Burrard streets, downtown Vancouver Thousands of children were killed or died in United Church, Catholic and Anglican “residential schools” between 1890 and 1984. Their remains are buried in secret grave yards across Canada, according to eyewitnesses and recent forensic evidence. We demand that the churches and officials who killed and buried these children answer for their crimes, and help recover the remains of these innocents so that they can receive a proper burial and know final peace. The United Church led this genocidal assault on native nations, and caused the deaths of more than 50,000 children in their “residential schools”.
