this shop is progressive not just in its purchasing but in its location as well. when considering that its location is not in a more traditional up-scale shopping destination, know that halo has been on broadway for years- consistently providing hard to find designers. i would go to halo wherever they were located. they are an independent shop and go seasonally to italy on buying trips only bringing back the lines that catch their eye. seriously, you are not going to get a shoe like the ones they offer anywhere else in portland. department stores may be easy but both you and i know the difference when you’re wearing something from nordstrom or from halo. Awesome place to buy shoes, boots, clogs, socks, etc. The staff is very helpful and will spend a lot of time with you. No rush, no pressure. I keep going back year after year. Sometimes you might be surprised at what you buy after feeling something so comfortable. I always get compliments on my shoes from Clogs N More.
