Dogs are welcome to come outside & in at will through a doggie door onto a deck. They can lounge outdoors in a well built gazebo away from the sun or rain. I have seen many dog hotels in my travels but this wins 5 stars as the best anywhere, … paws down !! You can immediately sense what these people are about when entering the foyer. The dogs enjoy safe & secure play areas to fit their individual needs, under a watchful eye. There is even a little infirmary complete with sterile supplies in the case someone gets a boo boo during their stay. This is affordable excellence w/o any hidden costs for any special needs or attention your dog may require. I take my dog to Townhouse for grooming and boarding several times a year. I’m very happy with their professionalism about food and medication, and have been perfectly happy with their reservation system. She always seems glad to see them, so I’m confident that they’re kind to the dogs in their care.
We have recently moved up to Portland, Oregon and were in search of a new doggie daycare and boarding facility. We had already tried Virginia Woof, and found that they seemed to be a bit overcrowded with bigger dogs (we have a pug and a boston terrier), so we went on the search for something else. I stumbled upon Fetch on citysearch, and decided to stop by and check out the facilities. We stopped in unannounced and they were very welcoming and willing to give us a full tour. We got to walk through the main play area, go back to the boarding facilities (they have only 6 large kennels), and through the grooming area. Everything was impeccably clean and the staff was incredibly friendly. They did a short little consultaion to see how they got along with some of the other dogs, and went ahead and booked the reservation.They encouraged me to check in if I wanted to see how the pups were doing (and I did, because i’m a nervous nellie). Our Boston Terrier is older and not very high
