My dog, Bristow, has been attending Central Bark for two years now and loves going more than hanging out with me. We tried Central Bark and from the first day, Bristow is ALWAYS thrilled when we turn in the driveway and is pulling me along trying to get in. I love chatting to the friendly employees and they all make a point of telling me about what Bristow’s been up to and his newest friends. I do check in on the webcam occasionally during the workday or will look through the window and catch Bristow playing. When I occasionally worked from home, I would get a lot of attention from Bristow as he would keep poking me to ask “When are we going to daycare?!”. Any trips to the dog park would be met with a “Oh okay, but when are going to daycare??”. He attends daycare daily and is always eager to head in.If I need to stay late without notice, they have been there for me with no questions asked. When I had a client meeting starting in Hillsboro at 7am when they usually open, the owner Ben

From the moment you walk in you will see how great this place is. The receptionists really do great with a smile. You are helped in a very timely manner. Soon after checking in you are escorted into an exam room. The doctor, in my experiences, comes in within about 5 minutes. This never happens in human medicine. The doctors, and I’ve seen almost all of them, are all wonderful!! I highly reccommend Parkway!Pros + friendly, professional, warmCons – bad parking lot

Lexidog has been so good to our dog and to us. They have a screening process for dogs to be accepted–and this is for the safety of the dogs. They do a superb job in the day of giving the dogs a break as well as playing with them. They have helped us out so many times and in many ways have become like family. This is a superb place to board your dog and have grooming done as well.In regard to the review of charging extra for every little thing–well they should as it takes time. I think their rates for walks, baths, nail trims, etc are very reasonable. You won’t find a better place to take your four legged friend.Pros + Very caring people, great handling of dogsCons – None

AJ’s is a great find for those worried about leaving their loved ones for a vacation. As this is a home care facility there are no cages, the dogs are cared for in a fully doggie proof house. AJ’s has a HUGE yard divided up into 3 sections and a very large indoor play facility for when it rains. The dogs have access to the outside all day through doggie doors. Most important though is the care and attention that AJ gives to all the dogs in her care, all dogs are pre-screened and she only takes those under 30lbs. And to top it off AJ’s is very reasonably priced. For a dog that used to cry when she was taken into the kennel, my dog now can’t wait to get inside and play with the other dogs, she doesn’t even look behind to say good bye!!Pros + Wonderful care, safe, large yardCons – none
