Where are the Best Pet Services in Denver, Colorado?
Ranger has been going to City Bark for 2+ years, since he was a pup. Ranger has a blast picking up a toy and playing keep away with the employees. He’s very vocal if they don’t chase after him! When its time to pick him up, he sleeps the rest of the way home, eats and then goes to bed. A tired dog is a good dog!The attention and care he has received since day one has been incredible. I especially like the fact that they have an employee in each of the groups full time. I have the luxury of watching Ranger at day-care most of the time on the camera so I have complete confidence in how the staff handles any issues and interacts with the dogs on a daily basis! If Ranger has to board (rarely), I feel good knowing that he is at a place that he knows everyone and everyone knows him. I always include day-care option with boarding, which makes me feel better knowing he gets to play for the day before bedding down for the night.I highly recommend City Bark to anyone!Pros +
We have started taking our puppy here 1-2 times a week and he loves it!! They have both a facility in Park Hill and then close to downtown – we have been to both. Both places smell very clean when you come in and the staff really seem to love what they do. The people at Park Hill are waiting with the door open when we pull up to drop him off. The daycare at Park Hill is much smaller but they get to go on a couple of walks in the neighborhood. The best part is our puppy is so tired when we pick him up that he falls asleep as soon as we get home which leaves a relaxing evening for yourself!Pros + Great facility and staffCons – Parking can be busy at night
I think Alameda East has a lot of great docs. I began taking my dogs there before they renovated the building and added the hotel. I had no problems until one of my dogs got sick and I had to use the inpatient hospital. She was a completely healthy 5 year old and she stopped eating for a few days so I took her in. The vet gave me some medicine for upset tummy and I left. 24 hours later I knew it wasn’t helping so I brought her back. 48 hours later, she was in distress and had to be put to sleep, my decision after watching her suffer. This is a dog that was cognizant and looked fine, just wasn’t eating. The problem I have, and that I didn’t know, is that it was an inexperienced intern or new vet, who made some decisions that made my dog go into distress. She did not recognize me, lost control of her bowels, panted non-stop, I held her in the ER on the floor, she could not stand up, I cried and cried and finally begged them to put her to sleep.Think about it. I do belie
This vet clinic came highly recommended to me from a person I met in Denver after just relocating to the city. We have two dogs, one a rescue, and they enjoy going to the vet here! Dr. Mike Herman actually got on the floor with my rescue Jack Russell to earn her trust (and he did). Wow!I have a friend who delivered water to vet clinics around Denver and he says it is by far the cleanest vet clinic from a vendor’s perspective of entering the back door. I confirm that the prices are very reasonable for a city vet. I was surprised. They even make treatment plans and use 3 year vaccinations so your dog can be seen less frequently!Pros + clean, professional, out-of-the way care/attention for special needsCons – popular, so may have to schedule out a couple weeks
