Cowell’s is great for beginning and intermediate surfers and is a short walk from The Point Santa Cruz House. For advanced surfers, the immediate area is paradise, with several world class breaks within a mile radius. Steamer Lane, Mitchell’s Cove, Swift Street, Natural Bridges among others can all be walked to. Pleasure Point and Four Mile are both short drives away. Surf spots like Maverick’s and Ano Nuevo are close as well, but should be considered as day trips.
