Where are the Best Music and Movies in Dallas, Texas?
I wandered in here about six months ago and was warmly greeted by the friendly lady I’ve come to know as Pat. At that time I had about 20 CD’s. Now , thanks to the wonderful advise and service from the staff; Larry, Chuck, Andrew, Pat, George, and everyone else; I have over 200 CD’s. Larry is the man. Anything you need to know about music or CD’s or bands he speaks the truth. I love coming in and exchanging little pleasantries with Pat.. She’s always smiling and wanting to know how was my day, and can she find something for me. I am saddened to see some of the mean reviews for the store and the staff! There are so few nice businesses left that are truly interested in their customers’ needs and life. However, it is a business and they need to make a profit to stay in business. They are not your MOTHER. Some of the negative reviews seem to be sour grapes. The store can’t buy every CD from every seller. If you don’t take good care of them, or you’re selling ones the store already has 10
CD World seems to get a lot of fanfare in Dallas, but I’ve never understood why. Every time I have been there, the staff has been surly and condescending. The selection and service are far better at CD Source (on Greenville), as are the prices.Pros + good selection, lots of parkingCons – unfriendly staff
