We’ve been going to El Toreador’s for years and have never been dissapointed in the food. The service is another matter. For the past few years, the evening staff has 2 waiter’s: 1 great and 1 truly terrible. He has literally spilled food, beer and salsa on my lap over the years. I’ve learned to politely decline tables served by the bad waiter even at the risk of a 5 minute wait. But, the food is the reason to go. The carne asada is spicy and is served with warm flour tortillas. Other favorites include tacos, burritios and the cheese enchiladas are the best.Pros + Great Food, Reasonable Prices, Funky atmosphereCons – A really bad waiter, can be crowded

I just went to this sort of hyped-up bar for the first time recently. Unlike many of the other reviewers, our service was good. The vibe at the place was cool, fairly chill. I like it when bars aren’t too brightly-lit, so that was nice. The food was average, not that great, but it was a decent place to drink.

I went to El Camino for the second time last night and overall was not disappointed. My boyfriend and I came a little after 9pm, and were seated in a nice corner of the main dining room by a window. Unfortunately, we could hear every word of our VERY LOUD and perhaps overly intoxicated neighbor table of six. We tuned them out as best we could and didn’t let it destroy our dinner so it wasn’t a huge deal.We had the same server as the last time we came to El Camino, and he was very friendly and helpful – and only a little slow at times perhaps due to the late hour. He recommended wine for us, which we both thoroughly enjoyed. We started with the beet salad, which we had ordered the last time and is very delicious. I ordered the Mussels appetizer as an entree; it was served in a very tasty tomato based broth with a touch of cream, lots of flavorful garlic and some grilled bread for dipping – I loved it! My boyfriend ordered the Bistec and Cheese Enchilada entree which he enjoyed as well

I live for the crab, roasted corn and avocado benedict with chipotle hollandaise. Even their little breakfast potatos are exemplary. It’s such a cool interior crafted by northwest artists that even if you have nothing to say to your date you can have fun taking in the visual. Their HH food is the best. There’s about 30 choices each for $3-$6. The texmex cuisine is creative and thoughtful and I have to recommend the pomagranet sangria very highly.Pros + One of Seattles funnest restaurants

This is one of the better Mexican food restaurants I’ve found in Seattle. Being from the Southwest, I have pretty high standards but they were satisfied by Rosita’s. The service is usually good, parking is decent to find, and the food is consistently good. My only complaints is it’s a bit pricey for a Mexican food place. However, they carafes of sangria are delicious and the warm tortillas from the bar make the wait for food even better!Pros + Delicious food, free fresh tortillasCons – Can get pricey
