Where are the Best Margarita in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania?

In Oakland where we’ve had our share of sub par food, Mad Mex certainly stood out. The service may not always be the best, and it can get pretty crowded, but I’ve never had anything I didn’t enjoy (same for the people I’ve gone with). I personally love the Chicken Chimi, but I’d say, having tried 1/3 of the items on the menu, you really can’t go wrong with anything you pick!Pros + Food, and great bar serviceCons – Can get really busy and crowded

TGI Fridays pride themselves on being a loud restaurant. They never let you down, as this is the one thing that they are always consistent with. If you intend on having a conversation, forget it. I’ve eaten at this location more than once, and never been satisfied. At the insistence of a friend, I returned only to be more disappointed than before. After being seated by the hostess, we waited over 20 minutes for a waitress. Not 20 minutes until she came, as when she was pointed out, I realized she walked past several times without stopping for a drink order or to let us know we were at one of her tables. After asking to see the manager, we were offered a free meal. I insisted on sitting in another area, with a different waitress. After being assured that the waitress for our new table was the best, she quickly arrived and took a drink order. The “best” waitress only took a bit over 15 minutes to go to the bar and bring us bottled beer. The meals we finally received were both over-co

My wife and I are recent transplants from Texas, and we have been on a quest for good Mexican food (largely unsuccessful) since we got here. We found Franklin Inn online and decided to try it out with another couple after reading the reviews. I’d say I agree with the majority of the posts here as far as the margaritas go; they are quite tasty and they don’t short you on the tequila. They sell them by the masonry jar which is fun. As far as the food goes, I’d say it’s well above average for what we’ve had in the Pittsburgh area although it’s still not quite what we’ve been looking for since leaving Texas. I ordered seafood enchiladas that were quite good once I got over the fact that it came with a dill cream sauce that I would’ve expected on stroganoff or some German beef dish instead. The chile con carne is good with chorizo added, although we wished it was a little thicker. All in all the food was very good if you aren’t sticklers about how authentic it is (it’s a Mexican rest

Met this guy on facebook n he took me to to the mall and I stood there watchin him look at video games for like an hour. I told him I was hungry and he tried to take me to the chinese place in the food court. I told him I wanted to go to a real restaurant. He drove us down the street and stopped in at Don Pablo’s. Too bad he wasn’t cool like our waiter. Just glad they have huge margaritas. Chicken quesodeya was good too. Ha, my date didn’t teven pay for the whole bill, he asked the waiter to split checks. Wont see him again, definitely going back to Don Pablos for more margaritas with my bf n gf.Pros + huge margaritas and good quesodeyasCons – my facebook date

Don Pablo’s serves fairly typical mexican fare with few surprises. The luncheon plates are a great value with enough food for dinnertime meal. They have a wide selction of frozen margaritas, just like Chi-Chi’s a mile down the road. All are excellent. Don Pablo’s went for the ambiance of a techno-renovated warehouse, which isn’t eye-catching but provides plenty of space and privacy between diners. They’re extra hot salsa and homemade tortilla chips gratis are a winner.Pros + good parking, inexpensive, great frozen drinksCons – lack of ambiance
