I will go again. Although the food is not really anything special the service is. And the place is beautiful and they treat you like family. This is an excellent Silverlake spot. Pros + beautiful decor, great service, good drinksCons – food nothing special

I have only been here once and would say my experience was good, not great. I have trouble trusting any mexican restaurant that does not have complimentary chips and salsa but I must say I really enjoyed the habanero one. It set my mouth on fire and had really great flavor with the creme. The margaritas were also excellent but a bit pricey. I also enjoyed the side order of plantains but wish they had a combo order of beans and rice instead of pricing them separately. All of these individual items add up and end up being way too much food unless you are sharing between 3 or more people. The food overall was good but definitely not the best plate of mexican food I have ever had. The wait staff was friendly and we were served in a reasonable amount of time. I think this would be a good place to enjoy with a group of friends as the atmosphere is pretty lively and fun.Pros + atmosphere, margaritasCons – need reservations, valet parking, chips are extra

I was taken here on a date and was pleasantly surprised. The place does not look so pretty from the outside, but once you walk in you get warmly greeted by the ladies at the door. We went on a Tuesday night and it seemed pretty crowded like it was the weekend. We got seated right away in a very big roomy booth. The place has a very cozy ambience and has a lot of Mexican charm. The servers are very professional and attentive. I was said to hear that they only served Fajitas during the weekend. I rarely get to go to a Mexican restaurant, and so having Fajitas would have been such a big treat for me. That is something they should think about serving ALL the time. My margarita was okay, nothing too great. Honestly got the worst headache the next morning but that may have to do with the fact that I do not drink often. However, I have tasted way better margaritas elsewhere. They do have a really nice menu with very authentic Mexican dishes like enchiladas, ceviche, albondigas, bu

This place is always fun because its local and guaranteed crowded. There are several rooms because i’m guessing they bought out like 2 of their old neighboring business so when ur walking through it its like a small maze. The bean dip is amazing! Their Dos Equis beer in a bitcher is like 7 bucks! They have a large assortment of food and margaritas. Like the other person said, the margaritas aren’t to die for in taste but they make it up in liquor! i guess you could say they’re service is like their margarita’s awesome food/drinks/environment but with no so great service. Then again the place is always packed so waiters/waitress have alot of people to tend to and the bar gets so packed that they have to walk thru it in order to get to the kitchen. It has two bars, and everytime i go i chuckle at how low my bill is. I’m definitely here atleast once a month.
