I live in Colorado springs, and this restaurant is on the way when we go to Broncos games… The first time we went we had to wait 15 minutes for our table, then when we got seated realized there were many tables available, I guess they didn’t want to seat them timed too close so created a FALSE wait to pretend they were giving good service (Lobby full and restaurant 2/3 at all times we were there-if you aren’t staffed to handle a crowd before a Broncos game, what other time would you be?)Ok service, I thought the Camerones were ok-the salsa was bland, chips good, service fair but snobby (“I’m better than you because I am in Highlands Ranch don’t you know??!!….”)Went a second time the ambiance is ok but you are literally back to back with other people’s chairs and if they move a little you feel it (maybe that’s why they don’t fill it up all the way)This last time we gave it another try, walked in RIGHT WHEN THEY OPENED at 11:00, and had our names taken long with the other 3 part

I came to Tamayo for my birthday dinner and was seriously impressed with everything that came to our table. My girlfriends and I started with margaritas and mojitos. I had the mango mojito and it was…

Lunch here with a group – there is something for everyone and everything is pretty good on the menu – from cobb salad and enchiladas to turkey sandwich with gravy. Priced right at $8 – $12 for a nice business lunch. Because its large, its never too crowded – Margs are good for later too. Service is hit and miss – sometimes quick others unbearably slow. Wouldn’t recommend for a romantic or hip dinner – lunch / happy hour is best.Pros + large variety, good value, good lunchCons – service iffy, lacks atmostphere

My family loves El Jardin. I was reading these posts and PKYPKY doesn’t have a clue what he/she is talking about. This is by far the BEST Mexican food in Colorado. We have had nothing but professional customer service and they really care. The specials are good deals with $2 burrito days, and top quality. I own a business and I know you can’t make everyone happy, and realize that not every business is perfect. My suggestion to everyone is to try it yourself. This restaurant is wonderful and me, my husband, kids and extended families love it. One of our favorites is the Fajita Burrito supreme…YUMMY! The only bummer is that we have to drive a little bit out of the way to get there, but it is WELL worth it. The parking can be tough on a busy night, but I guess that goes to show you that if they are full, then they must be good! I highly recommend El Jardin!Pros + Excellent Food, Great Taste…love the HOT green chili!Cons – Parking on a busy night.

Most people I know go to Benny’s for the margaritas, not-so-much for the food.Don’t get me wrong, the food isn’t terrible but it’s just ok. I’ve been there many times and have tried several items from on the menu and nothing has been very good as far as food. The margaritas on the other hand are very good. They are strong and they have many different flavors. You can order by the glass or a small pitcher.Overall the service has always been pretty good.Good place to go after work for happy hour.Pros + Really good margaritasCons – Food is just ok
