Where are the Best Margarita in Columbus, Ohio?

The guacomole here is wonderful. In general, though, I have been repeatedly disappointed with the food, in particular the fish. Having said that, Cozymel’s is a great place for drinks and apetizers. The bar area has large window/doors that open in the summer and a fireplace that is cozy in the winter.

We both had burgers first time we went, and they were absolutely delicious. The second time, Husband had the same thing, and said it was just about the worst burger he’d ever had. I had some seafood platter thing that was being advertized. It too was pretty awful – the breaded clams and battered fish weren’t even up to Long John Silver quality. Both times, however, we had the deep fried pepper jack cheese appetizer, and it really was yummy. O’Charley’s is a pretty typical family-friendly restaurant. There’s plenty of parking, seating is prompt, and the service is very good.Pros + Parking/locationCons – Iffy food

I love Mexican food, hands down, it is my favorite type of food. My favorite Mexican restaurant was Chi-Chi’s until it went out of business. Then along came Fiesta Jalisco. I eat there probably a couple times a month now. The food is fantastic, the servers are extremely friendly, and it is quite possibly the perfect restaurant.Pros + The Food, The Service, The PortionsCons – none at all

I considered myself spoiled that the first real Mexican food I tasted in the US was at the Vaquera restaurants. The food was always out of this world. We were so thrilled when they recently opened a restaurant near us in Hilliard. Although this venue is much more stylishly decorated, the maragaritas were weak and tasted dusty. My chicken fajita salad was awful, and had been made with canned chicken! The next time we went, it was the same, plus they made a mistake with my husband’s order. Thinking it might just be teething trouble, we went to the restaurant on Olentangy River Road. After an extremely long wait (no surprise though) we were seated. Although the margaritas were wonderful, we both commented that the quality of the ingredients isn’t as good as it used to be. We’re going to look for some place else for good Mexican food…

Been to Mexico many times, once for 2 months, and while this food is far from authentic, is is one of the best around here, and I have been to all their locations in central Ohio since they opened. Menu is rather static, but food is always cooked correctly, and served hot and fast. Coupons are always available, making their low prices even a better value. Service is also top notch…the mostly ethic specific staff is always hustling, and working hard to please you, however, if you don’t know Spanish, there can be a language barrier, especially trying to order something special or custom. There chicken tacos are the most authentic, adding hot salsa (free, just ask for it when they serve the complementary chips). I actually prefer Casa Fiesta for food, but Vaquero’s bars are better equipped for happy hours and the Friday after work social.Pros + Value, wait serviceCons – menu is somewhat dated and boring
