This is just another theme restuarant with mediocre food, poor service and the margaritas are from a mix and not freshly mixed for you.Pros + atmosphereCons – , Service

After growing up in California, and living in Branson, MO for the last 26 years, I’ve eaten all kinds of a variety of great food. However, my wife and I enjoy going to Chile Verde Cafe over all the other places. My favorite food there is the Bar-b-que grilled fajita burrito. In fact, I love it so much that I used to stuff myself with the chips before I got the main course. My strategy was I wanted to be full, so I would eat only half of the burrito. Then I would take the other half home and enjoy another meal. However, my plan soon failed. I ended up eating the chips and the big meal at the place. Anyway, all that to say, I love the food, and the atmosphere. Perhaps the best part, however, is the friendliness of the ownership and staff. If you walk in a stanger, you can’t help but walk out a friend, and a pretty full one, at that. There’s a theme park in Branson called Silver Dollar City. Their motto is: “Create Memories Worth Repeating.” That ought to be the motto of Chile Verde Cafe

First of all I think Mi Mexico has one of the friendliest staff. My husband is in a wheelchair and has a feeding tube and a ventelator, so we request a table near an electrical outlet so we can plug in the vent to be charged and so we can use our mini blender to blend his food. They are always great about finding us a spot. In fact we don’t even have to ask anymore. As soon as they see us they smile and start getting our table ready, always showing us the outlet. The food is incredible. I LOVE the Chimichangas. I have liked everything I’ve tried there, but if I don’t get the Chimichangs, I always have some remorse. Overall, this is a great place for a family dinner, a romantic dinner, whatever your occassion. If you love Mexican food, Mi Mexico is great.Pros + Friendly, great food, great valueCons – Weekends can be crowed and the service a little slow, but always worth the wait.

We just moved to Lewis Center from San Diego and have tried a couple restaurants here that did not compare at all to what we were used to. We decided to give this one a shot and our search is OVER! This is, by far, the best and most definitely authentic Mexican food that we have had since we moved. Who knew you’d find Mexican food just as amazing in Central Ohio as you would in San Diego, CA? My husband and I raved about this food and we will definitely be going back. The chicken is perfect – large chunks of white meat with no fat or bones, portions are outstanding and the “To Go” packaging makes it very easy to share. 🙂 Pros + The food is absolutely OUTSTANDING, prices are wonderful, meat is perfect and portions are huge!
