Where are the Best Margarita in Boston, Massachusetts?

The Mexican food here is simply the best in Boston. Nothing, nothing, comes close. The chef is amazing, and he and his wife are great hosts. I have been to many of the “mexican” restaurants in Boston that think they know what they are doing, but they don’t. Ole has nailed the food. It is certainly Mexican food with flair, and if I could eat there every day and not gain weight, I would. Now for the couple things they need to work on. Water and salsa should never run dry. And coming from TX, any MEXICAN restaurant that attempts to charge for chips and salsa should be ashamed. We planned a party there, and was told one thing, then when it came time to sign the paper work, their policy had changed which would force us to spend extra $$$ on alcohol. The woman just about put my fiance in tears, as were working on a budget, and had already sent out 50+ invitations. She was not flexible at all, and really didnt seem to want to help us out. I have been to Margaritas several times and have enjoyed the food and drinks, but some of the staff are the rudest I have ever dealt with. They also now seem to cater to a smoking crowd, who surround the entrance (covering you with their filthy smoke when you try to enter) and who think their entire party can come and go from the bar for large periods of time and expect their table to be theirs when they return. The management needs to do something about this or they are going to continue to lose patrons.Pros + food, patioCons – smokers, bartenders

I moved from Texas last year and have been miserable without decent Mexican food. El Guapo- finally! Free soda refills- unheard of here. Tri-color chips with three salsas. Our entrees were fresh and quick. My fajita was fabulous (ditto guacamole!); my fiance’s enchiladas didn’t look or taste as if they’d just come out from under a heat lamp, as so many do. The only bad things were the price of iced tea ($2.50- are you kidding?) and the noise level. When we arrived on a Saturday night the music on speakers was too loud, and once the (very good) guitar player began we weren’t able to speak to each other for the rest of the meal. I hope the noise problem can be fixed, because great food is great, but you like to talk to your dinner partners! Overall, the absolute best Mexican I’ve found in the Boston area.Pros + food, free soda refills, valueCons – noise, slow service
