I have been eating at this restaurant since it first opened it’s doors. I have endured excruciating slow, rude and neglectful service. But I continue to return. Why? The Chili Rellenos are the best I have ever had. Over the years this restaurant has grown and become much more customer friendly, and service has improved tremendously. That being said, there is still room for improvement. Twice, within the last couple of months, I have returned food which had obviously spoiled. Also, sometimes the food is so bland, and neglectfully prepared, I wonder why I keep returning. I contribute this to the different chefs/cooks in the kitchen. One of the chefs is definitely an expert in Mexican cuisine and no thought is too small in food preparation. However, one of the other chef’s is a pretender and is just painting by the numbers. You will know who is working when your food is served. On the occasions I have complained, the staff were quick to resolve the problem.

Great “hidden” live music spot in Canton. While technically in Canton Austin Grill is off the beaten path. They feature local live music on the weekends. The crowd varies in age depending on the band performing. The food is decent along with the service. Unlike most places in Canton there is room to move around on the weekends and socialize with the other patrons.

As a frequent patron of DP of Laurel, I love the atmosphere, great serving staff, and best of all the food and drinks. All you can eat deals and an awesome Happy Hour our definitely highlights that keep me coming back.

This review is for La Palapa Too in Laurel. Soups were good, particularly the chili. The food is good, but a bit overpriced. The “specials” are particularly overpriced – I had the chicken mole – which was mostly an overbearing sauce over a rather sparse amount of chicken. Furthermore, the chicken was a bit fatty and not trimmed well. My wife’s beef dish contained similar pieces of beef that were unnecessarily fatty. All the Mexican food standards (burritos, tacos, enchiladas, etc.) are here and are above average, however refried beans and rice sides are rather bland. Salsa is not memorable – I have had better out of a bottle. A major problem I had with this restaurant is they turned down my use of a coupon that they issued. I followed the instructions and met all requirements as printed, but its use was denied by the manager because only about half of my $50+ bill was for food. Management said that the coupon should state that the coupon was only for a food purchase, but i
