Jill is the owner, but she’s also your best friend in this store. She always knows exactly what is going to look good on me, and is awesome at pairing things together, adjusting fit for your shape… I could go on and on, but if you’re looking for personal attention and an amazingly friendly atmosphere, you can’t go wrong with Impulse. Jill does a blog, too – it shows modeled photos of all of the stuff in the store – I subscribe to the email updates and usually end up picking something up online as a result. The return policy is always kind – in-store credit , but a lot more flexible than many boutiques. on sunday, i decided to go out and buy a new pair of jeans. my first new pair in several years and a bit daunting because i can be a difficult fit. i was told to visit the girl at the fremont store, after going into the downtown store and realizing they no longer carry womens. a bit nervous, i headed inside and was greeted with warm, friendly faces. kristina told me to load up with many pairs of jeans before heading into the fitting room. she took the time to check in on me every couple minutes and helped me understand what i was looking for in terms of fit. the style that worked best, was one size too big and the last pair. kristina wrote down other stores in the city that carry the jean so that i could find my size! i have never had someone do this for me! i left feeling satisfied even without a new pair of jeans because now i know there is a fit out there for me! i will go back to ian because they made me feel comfortable and they have honest employees that are not just ther
